NEDSAC are family friendly scuba diving club based in Eckington Derbyshire, 6 miles from Chesterfield and 7 miles from Sheffield.
We are a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) offering pool and open water training for people of all levels from beginner to instructor. Training is provided on a one to one basis by both Male and Female instructors and scuba kit can be hired for pool training sessions.
We are fortunate enough to have a number of highly qualified instructors who can also provide skill development courses in-house e.g. Boat Handling, O2 Admin, First Aid for Divers.
Already a qualified diver? We also welcome qualified divers trained by other agencies. Come chat to us about where you can cross over and train with us. If you are happy with your level of diving then you can dive on your existing qualifications with us.
As active dive club we organise several dive trips a year both abroad and in the UK. We use our own boats and charter hard boats for UK diving. Further afield we used day boats or liveaboards.

If you have always wanted to learn to dive or are simply curious about scuba diving, then a Try Dive with NEDSAC is the perfect introduction!
In the safe confines of the pool, a BSAC Instructor will introduce you to the basic skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time. Try Dives cost around £20.
A typical Try Dive session lasts about 45 minutes. It involves poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in our pool with a BSAC-qualified instructor. Please note, minimum age is 12 years old.
